First time! The strawberries weren’t very tasty yet so dipped them shortly in a syrup with lemon, sugar and mint.

I wasn’t very convinced with the result. The dough wasn’t baked and the almond cream was really unsweetened (no sugar at all). So with what remained, I made an improved version of the tart, which I called her babies with thinner, more cooked dough and sweeter almond cream. Of course, I don’t have any material to make tartelettes so I improvised with my muffin baking form and cut the sides for the tartelettes and so on. Well, they didn’t last 5mn! So yummy!! ❤️

We ate half of the big tarte and the other half, I transformed it again 🙈 Really not happy about the “creme d’amandes » so removed the top (strawberries and custard and ate them like this) and reworked the dough! Crumbled it first then added some syrup. Let it rest in the fridge and rolled it again in a thin crust. Did a new custard and decorated with what remained of the fruits! 🤷🏻♀️ Yummy!
👉 Conclusion: Use the “Tarte aux pommes à la Cédric Grolet” almond cream instead or add something juicy/sweeter... End of the saga “Tarte aux fraises à la Cyril Lignac” 🤪🤣🍓
