2 tins chickpeas
200 g boiled beets
1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
2 tbsp white flour
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground coriander seeds
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp salt
a little pepper

Preparation Steps

  2. Preheat the oven to 60°C, warm the plates.
  3. Mixture
  4. Wash and drain the chickpeas in a sieve, transfer to a bowl. Peel the beetroot, chop into pieces, tear the parsley, add both to the bowl. Add the flour, oil and spices, roughly puree.
  5. Burgers
  6. With wet hands, shape the mixture into approx. 12 burgers.
  7. To fry
  8. Heat a dash of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the burgers in batches for approx. 5 mins. on each side, remove from the pan, keep warm in the oven.
