- Serves: 4 persons
- 80 gwhite flour
- ½ tsppaprika
- 500 ghalloumi
- 4 tbsppomegranate seeds
- ½ bunchpeppermint
- 1 tspZa'atar (spice mix)
- 150 gplain greek yoghurt
Step 1Mix the flour and paprika in a deep dish. Toss the halloumi in the mixture.
Step 2Fill a pot to 1/3 with oil and heat it to approx. 170°C. Lower the halloumi fries into the oil in batches using a slotted spoon, deep-fry for approx. 1 min. while turning. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 3Plate up the halloumi fries, garnish with the pomegranate seeds, mint and za’atar. Serve with yoghurt and lime wedges.
