Ingredients
- a littlebutter
- 500 gcherries
- 100 gflaked almonds
- 50 glight sultanas
- 2 tbspmaple syrup
- 2 pinchsalt
- 1organic lime
- 200 ground grain rice
- 8 dlmilk
- 2 tbspmaple syrup
- 2 pinchsalt
Instructions
Step 1
Grease one ovenproof dish with butter.Step 2
Pit the cherries. Place the almonds, sultanas, syrup and salt in a bowl. Grate in the zest from the lime, squeeze in the juice, mix.Step 3
Place the rice in the prepared dish. Place the milk, maple syrup and salt in a pan, bring to the boil, pour over the rice, mix.Step 4
Approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220 °C. Remove from the oven, stir the rice. Top with the cherries and crumble, return to the oven for approx. 10 mins. Remove and leave to stand for approx. 5 mins.
