Ingredients
- 1carrot
- ½ bunchflat-leaf parsley
- 125 gplain organic cream cheese
- ½ tspmild paprika
- ¼ tspsalt
- a littlepepper
- 8 slicesdark toast
- 350 gboiled beets
- 2 pinchessalt
Instructions
Step 1
Finely grate the carrot, finely chop the parsley, place both in a bowl along with the cream cheese, mix, season.Step 2
Cut 4 stars (each approx. 4 cm) out of each slice of toast. Spread the cream cheese on top of the stars.Step 3
Slice the beetroot into approx. 5 mm slices. Cut out 16 stars.Step 4
Place the beetroot stars on top of half of the toast stars, season with salt. Cover with the remaining toast stars (spread side down). Secure with a toothpick.
