a little butter
1 onion
½ tbsp sugar
1 tbsp water
1 rolled tarte flambée dough
100 g crème fraîche
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 red-skinned apple

Preparation Steps

  1. Onion
  2. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add the onion, sugar and water, cover and cook over a medium heat for approx. 7 mins.
  3. Tarte flambée
  4. Roll out the dough, slide onto a tray along with the baking paper. Season the crème fraîche, spread over the dough, top with the apple and onion.
  5. To bake
  6. Approx. 20 mins. on the bottom shelf of an oven preheated to 240°C.
