Ingredients
- 500 ghalf-white flour
- 1 ½ tspsalt
- 1 ½ tbspsugar
- ½ cubeyeast
- 3 ½ dlmilk
- 60 gbutter
- 100 gdark chocolate
- 1egg
Instructions
Step 1
Mix the flour, salt, sugar and yeast in a bowl. Pour in the milk, knead for approx. 5 mins. using the dough hook on a hand mixer. Add the butter, knead for approx. 5 mins to form a soft, smooth dough. Knead in the chocolate. Cover the dough and leave to rise at room temperature for approx. 2 hrs.Step 2
Divide the dough into 16 portions, shape into balls, place on two baking trays lined with baking paper, cover and leave to rise at room temperature for approx. 30 mins.Step 3
Glaze the rolls with egg.Step 4
Approx. 15 mins. per tray in the bottom half of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove the rolls from the oven, leave to cool on a cooling rack.
