Ingredients
- a littlebutter
- 1 ½ dlmilk
- 1 dlsingle cream
- 50 ggrated Gruyère
- a littlenutmeg
- ½ tspsalt
- a littlepepper
- 1garlic clove
- 800 gmealy potatoes
- 100 gbaby spinach
- 1 ½ dlsingle cream
- 70 ggrated Gruyère
- 4fresh eggs

Grease the gratin dish with butter.Step 3
SauceStep 4
Combine the milk, cream, cheese, nutmeg, salt and pepper in a measuring cup. Press in the garlic.Step 5
VegetablesStep 6
Cut the potatoes into approx. 3 mm slices. Arrange the slices of potato so that they overlap and layer them with the spinach in the dish. Pour the sauce over the top.Step 7
To bakeStep 8
Approx. 1 hr. in the centre of an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove.Step 9
CheeseStep 10
Mix the cream with the cheese, spread on top of the potatoes. Crack the eggs one at a time, place on top of the gratin. Return the gratin to the oven for approx. 20 mins.
